Eric LaMott, PhD

Provost, Chief Operating Officer, and Professor of Kinesiology

Dr. Eric LaMott is Provost and Chief Operating Officer for Concordia-St. Paul, as well as a Professor of Kinesiology. Dr. LaMott has over two decades of experience in senior management roles at Concordia-St. Paul.

After receiving his bachelors in psychology and his masters in kinesiology and exercise science at Boise State University, Dr. LaMott earned his doctorate in education from the University of Minnesota.

Currently, Dr. LaMott serves as the Chief Operating Officer as well as chief information officer. He reports directly to the president and has the responsibility of executing the strategic plan through the day-to-day operation. The chief financial officer, chief academic officer, and chief enrollment officers report to him. As Chief Operating Officer, Dr. LaMott oversees all university operations with an annual budget of approximately $44 million.
