Katie Fischer, PhD

Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Strategic Program Development

Dr. Katie Fischer is the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Strategic Program Development at Concordia University, St. Paul. Since joining the faculty in 2010, she has developed and taught in-class and online courses related to public health, exercise science, and health care administration.

Dr. Fischer is an alumna of Concordia-St. Paul, having received both her bachelors in Kinesiology and her masters in Organizational Management from the university. In 2016, she received her doctorate in Public Health Advocacy and Leadership from Capella University.

Dr. Fischer’s background in higher education includes administration of in-class and online programs, development of new programs, and collaborative programming.
